Getting Started with Wax Cache

Wax Cache is a modern digital inventory for physical card collections—built around boxes, locations, and easy access.

It's designed to mirror how your collection exists in the real world, while making it easy to search, update, and share.

What is Wax Cache?

Wax Cache helps you manage physical card collections by letting you:

  • Organize cards into digital boxes that match your physical storage
  • Assign locations to boxes (shelf, closet, room, etc.)
  • Find any card instantly with search
  • Generate QR codes for physical boxes
  • Share read-only views of your collection

Quick Start Guide

1

Create your account

Sign up or sign in to start organizing your collection.

2

Create your first box

Create a box that matches a real container you already use (e.g., "Bedroom Closet – Baseball"), then assign a location.

Think of boxes as a digital mirror of your physical storage.

3

Add your cards

Use the Scan screen to capture sports or TCG cards. Wax Cache will suggest details—review them for accuracy, then save.

You can always update card details later.

4

Generate a QR label

Generate and print a QR label for the box. Stick it on the physical container so scanning it opens that box instantly.

5

Search and retrieve

Search across your collection by player/character, set, year, or notes. Use QR labels to jump directly to a box without digging through it.

6

Share your collection

Share a read-only view of your collection with anyone using a public link.

You can customize the public URL (as long as it’s available), making it easy to share with friends, family, buyers, or at card shows.
