Camera and Scanning

  • QR scanning: Uses your device camera in your browser to read QR codes. QR detection generally happens on-device.
  • Card scanning (OCR/AI): When you choose to scan a card, the images you capture may be sent to our scan service to generate suggested card details.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide and maintain the Wax Cache service
  • Enable you to organize and track your card collection
  • Generate QR codes and public sharing links for your boxes
  • Send service-related notifications and updates
  • Improve our service and develop new features

  • Export: Download your complete collection as CSV anytime
  • Delete: Request deletion of your account and associated data

  • Public sharing: Enable/disable public links and configure what is shown

Public Sharing

When you generate a public sharing link for a box:

  • Only the box contents you choose to share are visible
  • Links are read-only; viewers cannot edit your collection
  • You can revoke public access at any time
  • We do not intend to index or make shared boxes searchable, but we cannot control how third parties handle links you share

Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to:

  • Keep you logged in
  • Remember your preferences
  • Measure performance and usage to improve the Service (for example, Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights)

You can control cookies through your browser settings, but some features may not work properly without them.

Children's Privacy

Wax Cache is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it immediately.
